WORTH LESS JOURNEY OF THREE YEARS.
The day was 2063, jestha 19.
Today we are in the middle of 2066 . Between these three years many historical events took place in Nepal . nepal declared as a republic nation. Gyanendra shah kicked out from narayanhiti palace, and narayanhiti palace declared as public museum.The election of constituent assembly took place and most surprisingly Maoist who were fighting for back ten years came ahead as most biggest party of Nepal. Previous bigger parties like Nepali congress and UMA lost the election with a huge difference. It was blamed to Maoist for illegal interference in election using their gorilla armies.It might be true or it might only be the brain work to hide the shameful lose of election .
Dr.Rambaran yadav became the first president of Nepal, it was the first time in Nepalese history when ordinary person became the head of the nation. Pushpakamal dahal "Prachanda " became the first prime minister of Nepal. The combined government of Maoist and UMA was made . Nepali congress stayed as main opponent party.
Yes , it was true that Nepalese people were shown lots of dream by that government. It was like fire examination to Maoist who were in government for the first time . People had lots of hope from Prachanda. But sadly,, Nepalese people were once again disappointed by the ruling parties. Except in tax collection that government couldn't do anything extra-ordinary work in other fields. As prediction lack of experience was clearly seen in the Maoist. There interference in Pashupatinath regarding the main priest was highly criticized . Neither they could maintain good relationship with nepalese army. It is said that after the unthrone of king nepalese army became like orphan. Army which was directly under the king since 204 years lost its guardianship. It would be good for maoist if they had maintained balance relationship with nepalese army instead of making them suspicioius in crucial situation. Army never felt secured from that government . Maoist extreme desire to mix their political armies into national armies brought a lot of misunderstanding between them. As a result cold war started between defence minister Ram Bdr. Thapamagar "Badal" and formal army chief Rukmangat Katwal. Army started ignoring defence minister. Defence ministry started interfering army's work. This cold war became public when government decided to give retirement to eight army official. When defence minister visited gulmi no one higher official of army came to receive him, it was another example of army-maoist conflict. On the same day of Badal's arrival the head of the batallian went outside the area. It was suspected that order came from from the head office of army. The controversy reached at its summit when Nepalese army left the fifth national game due to arrival of maoist army in last minute , considering it as beyond the rule of game.When situation turned into unmaintainable, maoist government decided to suspend Katwal and made kul bahadur khadka an army chief. Kul bdr. khadka was supposed to be the nearer official to maoist . But such decision of maoist was again highly criticized by other parties as well as neighbour country like india stood against this decision. Formal indian diplomat Rakesh sud visited prachanda thrice a day in order to make him change his decision. The seventeen parties under the command of nepali congress stood against it. The ruling parties like UMA also divided into two parts, one part containing Ghalnath Khanal , Bamdev Gautam were in favour of Maoist while K.P sharma oli , Madhav kumar nepal , Bidhya Bhandari were againgt Maoist.
The cleverer diplomat like Prachanda knew very well that suspending Katwal would cost a lot to them but the pressure inside the party was very high. Most of the maoist leader like Mohan Baidhya "kiran" , Ram Bdr Thapa "badal" , Krishna bahadur mahara wanted to suspend Katwal.As a result maoist party stood alone in its decision and finally Katwal was suspended.
The weather didnt become calm here.At morning government suspended Katwal and kul bahadur khadka was made honorary army chief. But at the same night President Rambaran yadav sent stay order to army headquarter cancelling maoist order.
It was simple matter for government to punish or suspend the employee under it but it was not the right time . The government which was made to make the favourable environment to write constituton of nation should have focused in its main purpose.leaving its track government started interfering unnecessary issues , Criminal like activities of Y.C.L, and loss of control of party high command in its baby organization became the major cause for maoist dispopularity among nepalese people .
Finally Prachanda gave gave resignation considering president's act as illegal as well as unconstitutional . Prachanda's resignation was accepted and another under the command of Madhav Kumar Nepal. A candidate who had lost the election from two areas became the second prime-minister of republic Nepal. One more humorous incident took place in same issue, the fourth largest party Terai Janadhikar (forum) parted into two , one part of Bijay Kumar Gachhedar participated in government while another part of Upendra Yadav stood as opponent along with maoist. Now moist is protesting in the name of people superiority .
In three years instead of working together, hand -by hand , political parties engaged in foot pushing game . In Republic nation having different view and opinion is a obvious thing but protesting in each and every matter which another person does is not a wise behavior.
In present condition no-one leader is seen serious about writing constitution. maoist is protesting against president act demanding for correction of president's step. Girija prashad Koirala has his own tension regarding his daughter political career, Madhav Kumar Nepal is in deep thought about lengthening his government's period, . One blames another , another blames others . All should understand one thing that fighting with one-another nobody is going to win here. we all nepalese are the only one to loose. In three years nothing is done. We had spoiled our three years blaming and suspecting others but we have still the time , Now onwards also we can make the Nepal as we had dreamed of " the new Nepal " with lots of development and prosperity. Don't make the martyrs regret about their life's donation.
